Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SaskStore media CDN services provided by SaskSoftware. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

SaskStore provides cloud media storage, image/video processing, and CDN delivery services. Features include image transformations (resize, crop, format conversion), video transcoding with GPU acceleration, and global content delivery via our infrastructure at media.sasksoftware.in.

2. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your API key and account credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• Sharing or publishing your API key publicly is strictly prohibited.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use our services for:

• Hosting or distributing illegal content under Indian or international law.
• Storing or serving malware, viruses, or malicious files.
• Hosting adult, obscene, or exploitative content.
• Copyright infringement or distribution of pirated content.
• Automated scraping, hotlinking abuse, or bandwidth exploitation.
• Any activity that degrades service performance for other users.

4. Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all content uploaded to your account. SaskStore does not monitor uploaded content but reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable laws upon notification.

5. Payment and Billing

• All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to 18% GST.
• Free tier includes limited storage and bandwidth as specified in your plan.
• Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly. Payment is required before plan activation.
• We accept payments via Razorpay (UPI, cards, netbanking) and PayPal.
• Services may be downgraded or suspended if payment is not received by the due date.

6. Service Level

• We target 99.9% uptime for CDN and API services.
• Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.
• We are not liable for downtime caused by factors beyond our control.

7. Data and Backups

While we maintain redundant storage (ZFS RAID), you are ultimately responsible for keeping your own backups of uploaded content. We are not liable for any data loss.

8. API Usage

• API rate limits apply based on your plan tier.
• Exceeding rate limits will result in temporary throttling, not data loss.
• API access may be revoked for accounts violating these Terms.

9. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.
• Upload illegal or harmful content.
• Exceed plan limits without upgrading.
• Have outstanding unpaid invoices beyond the grace period.

10. Limitation of Liability

SaskStore's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service in the preceding 3 months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of data or revenue.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India.
